Toby Stark With nearly 20 years experience, Toby is committed to helping her clients meet their short- and long-term goals through public relations and marketing efforts. She offers a broad range of experience in media relations, marketing, strategic planning, crisis communication, media training, and special events planning. Having worked in the corporate, nonprofit and agency sectors, Toby has a clear understanding of the public relations strategies needed to grow a business. She has worked with a number of industries including telecommunications, real estate, environmental remediation, healthcare, international trade, and food and beverage. Additionally, she spent several years at the Greater Houston Partnership, helping promote the city and its attributes to the local, regional and national media. Through this varied work she has developed the ability to understand a highly complex industry or issue and simplify it for the average consumer. Toby has won numerous awards for her local, national and international media relations work promoting Houston during the 1990 Economic Summit and the 1992 Republican National Convention, as well as publicizing Habitat for Humanity's 1998 Jimmy Carter Work Project. She is also an adjunct professor in the University of Houston’s School of Communications, teaching a senior-level public relations campaigns course. Very active in her community, Toby has served on the board of directors and as vice chairman of the Anti-Defamation League's Southwest Chapter and has been an adult literacy volunteer with Literacy Advance Houston. She is an active member of Public Relations Society of America and the World Affairs Council.
Michelle started her public relations career with the Region of Peel in Ontario, Canada, and was most recently Manager of Public Affairs at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. Her previous roles have enabled her to develop and manage large-scale program rollouts, branding efforts and media campaigns. A Masters graduate in public relations from the University of Houston, Michelle also has a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, in Ontario. Michelle has received national awards from the Canadian Public Relations Society and the Association of Municipal Recycling Coordinators in recognition of her work. Michelle has been a Girl Guide leader since 2002 and has also served as Deputy PR Advisor for the Girl Guides of Canada, British Columbia Council. |
